West U Rotary Golf Tournament

The West U Rotary golf tournament will be held Monday, June 22, 2020, at Riverbend Country Club.   This year's tournament proceeds will go to Second Servings of Houston.  Registration starts at 7:00 am with a tee-off time of 8:00 am.

Second Servings is Houston’s only prepared and perishable food rescue organization. The nonprofit is on a mission to direct perfectly edible surplus food from businesses and fill people's stomachs, not the city's landfills. Second Servings picks up unserved and unsold food from convention centers, sports venues, distributors, hotels, etc. and executes free same-day delivery to more than 80 local shelters, soup kitchens, low-income housing, and many other charities. Since Second Servings of Houston began operations in 2015, the team has rescued approximately 3 million pounds of food, valued at more than $20 million, from over 200 food donors.

The West U Rotary Club Foundation supports numerous projects and non-profit organizations in Houston, across the country, and internationally.
