Meet at the Library, Downtown Arlington

Maggie Campbell is an entrepreneurial leader with a 25+ year history of working with downtown organizations and cities to revitalize their downtowns. She currently serves as the President and CEO of the Downtown Arlington Management Corporation in Arlington, Texas. Most recently, Ms. Campbell worked for MIG, Inc., a nationally-known planning, design and communications firm based in California. MIG recently completed the Downtown Arlington Master Plan, and in her new role Maggie will implement this visionary plan, in partnership with the City of Arlington and the University of Texas at Arlington.

Maggie has led diverse downtown organizations and managed Business Improvement Districts (BIDs) for numerous cities, including serving as the first President for the Downtown Arlington Management Corporation. Other leadership roles include the Downtown St. Louis Partnership in St. Louis, Missouri, as well as the award-winning Old Pasadena Management District in Pasadena, California.

Ms. Campbell has managed downtown organizations with strong events and festival programs for the historic West End in Dallas, Texas and Downtown Santa Barbara, California. Early in her career, Ms. Campbell worked in the Main Street Program in Texas, Oklahoma and Mississippi, later serving as the Events Director for the Downtown Jackson Partnership in Jackson, Mississippi as well as for Downtown Fort Worth, Inc. in Fort Worth, Texas. Ms. Campbell has a BA in History from the University of Texas at Austin, has two grown children, and is active in the International Downtown Association and the Urban Land Institute.
