5th Thursday at Takoda's Tavern
Our club has the practice of getting together for a social event on the fifth Thursday of months that have five Thursdays. We will resume this in-person socializing on Thursday, April 29 at Takoda’s Tavern (12365 Pine Bluffs Way, Parker, CO 80134, on the SE corner Parker Rd. and Hess Rd.) starting at 5:30 p.m. Please let Mike Oldham know if you plan to come (meoldham@msn.com).
Note: we do NOT have a regular morning meeting on 5th Thursdays.
Rotary District 5450 Conference
The District Conference is coming up on the evenings of Thursday, May 6 and Friday, May 7. The conference will again be offered in a virtual format. For more information on the conference and to register, click here. The deadline to register is April 23.
The registration fee is $25, which the club will pick up. When you register, please indicate that you will pay by check. Then forward your confirmation email to the club Treasurer, Hal Gustin (hgustin@alum.mit.edu). Hal will send a single check to the district to cover all our registrants. (If you have already registered and paid by credit card, contact Hal to arrange to be reimbursed.)
Paying Club Dues Using Zelle
Club Treasurer Hal Gustin reminds us that we are now able to pay our dues online with Zelle, a service offered free to customers of many banks/credit unions. If you have any difficulties setting up Zelle, you can contact Hal (hgustin@alum.mit.edu) or Amanda Maldonado (adm41412@gmail.com).
You should get an email from Hal acknowledging your payment within 24 hours of your sending it. If you do NOT receive a confirmation email from Hal, please let him know right away and he will help you troubleshoot .
