Hope Haven West-Providing Dignity Through Mobility

A few years ago, fellow club members, Dennis and Kathy Creighton volunteered on a Rotary good will trip to South America with the organization, Hope Haven West.  There they met Founder and Director, Lonny Davis and were part of a team providing wheelchairs to the disabled poor.  Hope Haven West collects new and used wheelchairs using their large network of volunteers. and then they invest their time and expertise into reburbishing these used wheelchairs. Multiple times a year, they travel to different parts of Mexico, Central and South America to deliver these chairs to disabled children and adults. 

In addition, today we will also hear from our new member Salome Mwangi.  She will give her classification talk.
