Ever since we've been meeting via Zoom, our Board has been discussing what to do about our dues. A portion of our dues goes to Rotary International and District 5400, including the subscription to Rotary magazine. We also have ongoing commitments to Everyday Leadership, Youth Exchange program, and various administrative expenses. But you know that a substantial portion of our dues had been going to pay for lunches at the Stonehouse.
After much discussion, the Board decided that rather than reduce our dues we would accumulate that extra lunch money and periodically make substantial contributions to our favorite causes. So far we've sent $500 each to the Boise Bicycle Project and JEMFriends.
So for now, our club dues will continue to be $375 every six months.
