Applications are due by June 1st, 2018 to receive a grant for projects to be implemented in the 2018-2019 Rotary year.  Grants can be up to $5,000 and align with the mission of the Rotary Foundation.  More details are attached.

Last year, Deb helped us apply and get a grant to support the Agency for New Americans (ANA) Women's program.  Because the grant was $500, there was no Club match required.  Any grant request above $500 will require the Club to contribute 25% of the total funding.  The year before, we used a District Grant to refurbish the signs at River Pointe Park, the site of our upcoming Changing of the Guard event on Saturday, June 9th.

If you have an idea and want to lead a team, then please let me know.  Because we are only allowed to submit one application per Club per year, I'd like to present your ideas to the Board for approval, especially if you envision a match requirement.

The grants are GREAT way to do some good in our community!  We have lots of proactive members with many ideas.  Let's rally behind a grant, get some $$'s, and do some good. More details can be found on the District website.
