You're invited to an exciting volunteer opportunity – Global Talent Idaho’s Career Summit on Friday, March 30, 2018! As a volunteer, you will be helping our Job Seekers prepare for their real-life job interviews.

CAREER SUMMIT- March 30, 2018
GTI’s Career Summits bring local industry professionals together to help GTI’s Job Seekers practice their interviewing and networking skills in preparation for real job interviews. As a volunteer, you will be paired up with other local professionals and conduct two practice mock interviews with GTI’s refugee and immigrant Job Seeker professionals. This will allow our Job Seekers the opportunity to practice and enhance their interviewing skills. Global Talent Idaho provides all the materials, questions, and information you need to enjoy your experience!

Logistics:
This afternoon session will start at 1pm with a catered lunch and training/orientation for volunteers. We will then run mock interviews with two different job seekers, with face-to-face feedback as well as input on feedback forms.
Following these interviews we will have open networking which will offer you the opportunity meet more of our talented job seekers while they use this opportunity to practice their networking skills and meet industry professionals. The program will conclude with participants sharing best practices and recommendations.

If you know of someone (neighbor, friend or co-worker) who fits any of these descriptions, please feel free to share this invitation!  Volunteers do not need to have these specific backgrounds however to give quality input at this event.
