That’s just one point that Peggy Thibodaux mentioned at the September 4 Rotary Club of The Woodlands luncheon.  Thibodaux, who has done research at UTMB in Galveston the UT Health Science Center at Houston, combines Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and a PhD in Natural Health to show the way to more effective, less stressful, walking, running, sitting, and standing.  Proper gait can avoid pain and back spasms.  A mid foot strike is best versus a heel strike when running.  If you want to avoid rounded shoulders, don’t lean your head forward.  Peggy performs Gait Analysis and is a Performance Enhancement Specialist and Corrective Exercise Specialist at the Montgomery County YMCA.
