The Khatibs, our refugee family from Aleppo, Syria, arrived at the Stanfield International Airport early on Thursday morning, Feb. 4th, tired but happy.  A couple of days later, with the help of the Rotary Newcomers Committee, they were shopping at Walmart for some essentials.
There are five members of the Khatib family - father, Jyab; mother, Khayriye; two daughters Waed and Douaa and son Mohammad.  The Kahtib's are anxious to settle in, meet people and start to make a life for themselves in a new country.
