Local Rotarians involved in the Re-Incarnation of KDCL

Below are the new Directors of the re-incarnated Kentville Development Corporation Ltd (KDCL), founded over 30 years ago and now

brought back to life through the initiatives of Kentville Rotarian Bill Denyar. It would be remiss not to mention that a number of Kentville Rotarians were amongst the founders of KDCL in the early 80's. KDCL became dormant after many successful years due to the phasing out of business improvement tax initiatives years ago. Amongst the early groups many contributions to the community were the creation of the pumpkin people festival and the trail park system that are so visible to many of the town's residents today.

A new KDCL board has now emerged and is pleased to announce that the group is moving fast in strategic planning and pro-active initiatives designed to encourage the downtown core of Kentville to become a more vibrant place to visit, live, shop and do business. There is no illusion that this will happen over night but with this team made up with a strong mix of Rotarians - how can the town go wrong!
