Get a little exercise and help prevent youth homelessness at the same time!
Joe Roberts (the "Skid Row CEO") will be pushing a shopping cart through Durham Region on October 21st for his "Push for Change" initiative (http://www.thepushforchange.com), and we want as many Rotarians as possible to walk with him. Joe will be accompanied by several VIPs and a host of others, and there will be some good press coverage, so come out and be a part of it!
Joe starts his walk at the Bowmanville Zoo at noon and will continue west right down Highway 2, ending up at the Whitby Library at 6:00PM, after which there will be speeches, entertainment, a presentation of $10,000 from the Durham Region Rotary Clubs, and a "sleep-in" at the Whitby Library for anyone who's interested. Walk for any part it, or walk for all of it if you dare. But let's walk!
