Hello Fellow Sunrise Rotarians!
The ‘Rotary Kettle Challenge for the Salvation Army’ was extended to the Rotary Club of Whitby and they have accepted!! The WINNING CLUB receives the Bell Ringer Trophy to display for the year and bragging rights!! Sunrise is the reigning champion!!!
NOW – I extend the Challenge to YOU!!
What: ‘Rotary Kettle Challenge for the Salvation Army’ 2017
Where: 3 locations (alternating for fairness)
Location #1 December 9 - LCBO Taunton & Baldwin
Location # 2 December 16 - LCBO Baldwin & Winchester (Brooklin)
Location # 3 December 23 – LCBO Thickson & Dundas
Time: 10am - 8pm
We will be scheduling 2 hour shifts on both days and ideally would like two people present. One person will be a club member, the second can be another club member or can also be family or friend. First pair will uncover the Kettle and get started, at the end of the day Charlie or another Army officer will be by to pick up. We will be updated on our totals by them the following Monday. Looking forward to some fun fellowship and friendly Club rivalry.
