The annual Bryan Rotary Field of Valor enlists club members and community volunteers to execute the Flag Field setup and break-down.

Below is a list of the volunteer dates. Both members and the public can 'book' a volunteer slot by entering your name, phone number and email. Please register for every time slot where you will participate. Thank you for your Service!

FLAG DISPLAY

Saturday, 11/6/21, Flag Field Setup at Veterans Park, 8:00 am-11:00 am (Click to Volunteer)

Sunday, 11/14/21, Flag Field Break-Down at Veterans Park, 1:30 pm-4:30 pm (Click to Volunteer)

You will receive an email confirmation for each shift you register for. We will also send an email reminder the day before each shift. If you cannot make your shift, please try and find a substitute, and notify the Event Chair, Bunny Pratt, 979.571.9826 (text) or bunny@bcins.net.  


Flag Field Volunteers will assemble to uncap ground sleeves, unfurl, post, and tag 1000 American flags. The flags are 3ft by 5ft and attached to 10 foot metal poles. Volunteer groups are encouraged to wear matching organizational t-shirts.

  • Saturday, 11/6/21, we begin at 8:00 am and hope to finish before 11:00 am. Sunday, 11/14/21, we begin at 1:30 pm and hope to finish by 4:30 pm. Familes are welcome to participate together.  
  • Park in the Softball or Soccer field lots. 
  • Check in at the blue pop up tent near the memorial's parking area to confirm you've read and understand the attached liability waiver & photo release. 
  • We roll out & take down flags rain or shine so dress according to the weather forecast. 
  • Wear shirts identifying the organization you are volunteering with.

We'll have hand sanitizer at the volunteer tent and bathrooms with hand washing stations are available by the soccer fields. Face Masks are optional.
If you are sick or experiencing symptoms including fever, cough, and shortness of breath, please avoid volunteering and contact your health care provider instead.
