Our Daily Bread Volunteering

Our Daily Bread (ODB) is a non­profit community supported outreach program serving free hot meals three days a week, (MWF), to hungry people without restriction. The Rotary has generously funded one weeks' worth of meals at Our Daily Bread located at St. Thomas Episcopal Church in Sunnyvale.Part of the Rotary donation is to have Rotarian's come and help serve the meals and they were the recipient of our Golf Tournament last year (new fridge) The date that we will be doing this is on Friday, January 27, 2017 from 10:30 AM –12:30 PM. Please sign up here or contact Susan Latshaw at suslatshaw@aol.com if you would like to come and help. We need about 10 people. It will be both an interesting and fun experience. You are also very welcome to stay for lunch.

The program is staffed by one part time paid Program Director and more than 100 volunteers from the local community. Our Daily Bread is completely funded through donations and has been in operation for 32 years. Approximately 290 diners are served per day.
