When: Friday, Sep 2nd, at 4:30 pm
Who: Anybody – adults, kids, Rotarians, Friends, etc.
What: Foot Golf is played with a soccer ball. You can have up to six people to a tee time. Savita and Helene have played it and any skill level works. And, yes, the greens will have holes big enough and deep enough for a soccer ball.
Cost: Blackberry is giving Cupertino Rotary a discounted price: $12 for adults and $8 for those 16 and under. Bring your own soccer ball or rent one for $3.
Shoes: No soccer shoes with cleats. Tennis/gym shoes are probably best.
Your options:
- Play Foot Golf (should take about 1 hour and a half)
- Play Foot Golf and then go Hobee’s for the “10th hole”. Chat, have snacks, or have dinner.
- Dinner only. Join us at Hobee’s for fellowship, snack, or dinner (probably around 6:15).
Talk to me: I need to give Blackberry and Hobee’s an approximate head count. So please email me at wendellstephens@mac.com . Let me know if you are planning on joining us for option 1, 2 or 3.
Your Team: I generally make up the foursomes or sixsomes but if you have people you want to play with then let me know.
