Prince George Rotary World Polio Day

Join us on Oct. 24 as we mark World Polio Day.

Organized by the Rotary Club of Prince George, the Prince George Rotaract Club, the Rotary Club of Prince George Yellowhead and the Rotary Club of Prince George Nechako, the event features guest speaker Chris Offer.

Chris, a member of the Rotary Club of Ladner, went to India on a Polio National Immunization Day and to Nigeria with the World Health Organization and Center for Disease Control as part of a Polio External Review.

He'll be sharing his experiences and giving us an update on eradication efforts and the status of polio in Afghanistan, Pakistan and the Polio Plus Campaign.

Doors open at 5:30 p.m.
