Each year, the Newton Pride Committee organizes a spelling bee for our City's elementary school children. Over the course of several days in late March, hundreds of children come to the War Memorial to compete with their counterparts from all over the City, and it is a fun, challenging event. It's success is heavily dependent on volunteers.
Club members will be helping out as judges, registrars, runners, and pretty much anything the event needs. Right now, all volunteer spots are full, but if you'd like to be on the backup list, or if you'd like more information, click HERE to email Susan Paley.
