Speaker: MA Network of Foster Care Alumni

Our guests will be Grace Hilliard-Koshinsky and Fiona Rutagengwa from The Mass Network of Foster Care Alumni (MassNFCA). MassNFCA creates community and opportunity for current and former foster youth through education, employment, service and leadership.  MassNFCA is a nonprofit organization for people who have experienced 'foster care' for any period of time in their lives in any US state or country in the world. MassNFCA's members include 'foster care alumni' and friends of foster care AKA allies. Grace Hilliard-Koshinsky, the Program Manager for MassNFCA, is a former foster youth and an adopted person from Ohio's child welfare system. Grace will be joined by her co-presenter Fiona Rutagengwa who is serving as an AmeriCorps VISTA member for MassNFCA. During this presentation speakers will introduce the organization, outline who is included in the term 'foster care alumni' and present opportunities to get involved with this mission. MassNFCA's vision is that alumni of foster care are well connected and well supported throughout all phases of life.
