Speaker: Julia Malakie, Newton Tree Conservancy

Julia Malakie lives in West Newton and is a founding director, and current president, of the Newton Tree Conservancy. She also serves on the City's Urban Tree Commission. By day (or, more often, by night), Julia works as a photojournalist at the Lowell Sun newspaper. She will speak about the Newton Tree Conservancy's first nine years helping to grow Newton's urban forest.
