Textiles Drive #4

HELPSY is the largest clothing collection recycling company on the East Coast. In 2021, they helped to divert over 30 million tons of waste and our job is to help them continue this work (we also get some funding for our scholarships from it).

We need:

• 4 volunteers on each collection date (shown below) to help unload bagged clothing/textiles and/or household products from cars and into the HELPSY truck.  

Collection Dates: July 23 - August 13 - September 17 from 9am - noon so you can help AND get done what you need to get done for the rest of the day. Help out (it's fun!) on some dates or all of them - whatever works for you!

The drives will be held at the Scandinavian Living Center, 206 Newton Street in West Newton.

This is also a fundraising opportunity for us! HELPSY pays the Rotary for each pound of clothing collected.
