Charles River Cleanup: Saturday April 20th from 10am-12pm at Village Falls Park, South Street, Needham This is our Earth Day (Monday April 22nd) service event on a weekend to be allow workingfolk to participate. Kathy Whitney is our Captain. She'll have trash bags and will tell us where to drop off the full ones at the end. You need to register and sign the waiver that Don distributed via email on 4/4/24.

We're asking members to arrive when the doors open at Echo Bridge Restaurant at 11:30am because we've got a project to do at the meeting: assembling "Emergency Clothing Kits" for homeless people through Circle of Hope. |

Bridges to Moms

Our Speaker today: Dr. Roseanna Means: Bridges to Moms was founded by Dr. Roseanna Means, attending physician in Brigham and Womens Hospital Division of Women’s Health. Since 2016, Bridges to Moms has assisted hundreds of women facing pregnancy and housing insecurity, poverty and domestic violence. Bridges to Moms specifically targets homeless and housing insecure women who are pregnant and rely on Brigham and Women's Hospital for obstetrics care. The goal is to improve prenatal clinic attendance, gestational age at birth, birth outcomes, maternal bonding, and reduce NICU stays. These results mean healthier pregnancies and stronger maternal bonding.
