The Rotary Club of Concord has chosen Communities for Restorative Justice (C4RJ) as beneficiary of its third annual Festival of Wreaths to be held on Sunday December 4th in Concord as part of Concord's holiday parade and tree lighting celebration. The wreaths will be on display from 1 until 5 p.m. at Middlesex Savings Bank, 64 Main Street, Concord. All wreaths will be available for sale through a silent auction. Come and bid on your favorite.

Last year's wreaths ranged from sparkling and whimsical to elegant and elaborate with over 30 wreaths being auctioned. This year's will be equally exciting. Stop in to enjoy the beautifully crafted selection, all generously donated and decorated by local businesses, clubs, organizations, and individuals. There will also be a raffle for a Gift Tree festooned with many $25 gift certificates from a wide variety of local businesses. Raffle tickets will be available at the event.

If you would like to create a wreath for the Festival, please contact Phyllis Maurer at pmaurer@hammondre.com.

The Rotary Club of Concord invites you to help support C4RJ, a nationally acclaimed program begun here. Communities for Restorative Justice (C4RJ) is a community-police partnership that offers restorative justice to those affected by crime. Its “circle” process recognizes that crime is a violation of people and relationships, not just a violation of law. C4RJ receives police referrals and seeks to include those affected by crime in the decision-making: victims, offenders, loved ones, supporters, community members, and law enforcement officials. Every wreath purchased, every raffle ticket purchased will help support this worthy organization, so please stop by on your way to Concord's Holiday Parade and Tree Lighting!
