Paul Saner, former Commissioner of the Massachusetts Commission for the Blind, and long-time co-chair of Brookline’s Economic Development Advisory Board and member of Brookline Town Meeting will speak with us September 15.

Saner is a former managing director of BankBoston (now Bank of America) and previously worked as a real estate executive.

He has served as a volunteer vision rehabilitation teacher and board vice chairman at the Carroll Center for the Blind in Newton and as a leader with the Perkins Braille and Talking Book Library in Watertown.

Saner was the founding board chair of Boston’s Metropolitan Waterworks Museum, and served as a trustee of the Brookline Community Foundation.  He is presently on the board of MAB Community Services based in Brookline.  He has lived in Town for 34 years, and his daughters are graduates of Brookline public schools.

He holds an MBA in finance from the University of Rochester and a bachelor’s degree from Trinity College.

We will meet for lunch at Hamilton's Restaurant, 1366 Beacon Streeet, for a Hybrid meeting -- some folks in the restaurant and some on Zoom.  The Zoom link will be sent out the day before the meeting to all registered attendees.  Non-members need to be registered by a member.
