MEETING SUMMARY - JULY 19, 2016

What a meeting!  We had a great turnout.  Thank you to the team at the Steamboat Grand who rolled out an additional table to accommodate our overflow crowd.

Gillian M was recognized with a Paul Harris +1 for her generous contributions to the Rotary Foundation.

Winnie D announced an upcoming meeting of the International Grant Committee to consider proposals for an RI Global Grant and invited interested members to join the committee.  Please get in touch with Winnie if interested.

Kim Hess gave a great presentation on her recent successful Everest climb.  It was an exciting and moving presentation on what it takes to reach the top of the world.  The presentation held the attention of the room and there were many questions which generated additional interesting information an anecdotes. 

We did not do Good News as the presentation was so interesting that I did not want to stop it for that purpose... so please remember whatever you were planning to talk about and share it with us next week.

Our program for July 26 also promises to be very interesting.  We will have two speakers, one representing each side of the upcoming ballot question on health care.  Don't miss it!
