FOR THOSE ROTARIANS WHO MISSED THE TUESDAY, MAY 19, 2015 MEETING
Rotarian, Kris Hammond, presented his aptly re-named Program: “Southeast Asia Photo Journal.” Thank you Kris for an entertaining and educational presentation.
Thank you to our Greeters, Winnie DelliQuadri, (who filled in for Scott – thank you for stepping up, Winnie) and Bob Weinman. Winnie also introduced our guests and visiting Rotarians.  Thank you both.
We did not have anyone signed up for Thought for the Day, so Jim provided a few more Paraprosdokians – “Figures of speech in which the later part of a sentence or phrase is surprising or unexpected in  a way that causes the reader or listener to re-frame or reinterpret the first part. It is frequently used for humorous or dramatic effect.”
If you have yet to deliver a Thought for the Day, or have not done so in some time, please consider sharing your inspirational thoughts with us. Contact Alice Klauzer to volunteer, or go to the Club’s Web-site and sign up for Thought for the Day at Volunteer Spot.
I am still looking for Gift Certificates for our Gift Basket in the Silent Auction at the upcoming District 5440 Conference. Thank you.
