FOR THOSE ROTARIANS WHO MISSED THE TUESDAY, APRIL 21, 2015 MEETING
Spring Break – attendance was just 34%, but we did have a good meeting. Thank you to Ellen Kendall for our Club Day Program. We all got to know each other a little better by telling our table-mates of something each of us personally had never done, but that we expected one or more of our table-mates had done. If you got it right, you got a slip of paper from those table-mates who had done what you had not done.  For example, if you said you had never been to Europe and any one or more of your table-mates had been to Europe, each of them had to give you a slip of paper. Then, Ellen turned the tables on us – those with the most slips of paper were the losers, because they had not had the life experiences their table-mates enjoyed. Thank you Ellen, that was fun. Then, Ellen had us use the slips of paper to record some Club related things, including favorite past Programs, that I am sure she will use in her upcoming Presidential term.
Thank you to our Greeters, Geneva Taylor and John Kuhn. John introduced our guests and visiting Rotarians. Thank you both.
Jim (“It is all about ‘Mud Season’”) Clark delivered our Thought for the Day. Jim took 9 mountain climbing axioms and applied them to operating a business – revealing and very effective! Thank you, Jim
Rachelle Summers served her first stint as our Good News solicitor. Rachelle did a great job, coaxing over $100.00 in donations to our Scholarship Fund from our lowest attendance meeting of the year, due to Spring Break. Rachelle, you will be called upon again to take care of Good News for us. Thank you for stepping up!
