Greeters:  Thank you to Rachelle Summers and Dan Hagney.  Heard they even did the extra duty of hanging up our coats. Dan introduced Visiting Rotarians from Colorado to Australia and several important guests.

Thought for the Day  - none delivered as Ellen forgot to bring up Dan Shields to do it!!   So okay – the last last word goes to Marion Kahn and Carol Parish – from Ellen, “I really am a blonde!”

PROGRAM

Classification Talk by Rachelle Summers:   A very informative and fun review of Rachelle’s young life (you did say 26? Right?)  From Arizona ”a place where everything wants to hurt you”  to Colorado…Glad you made the change!  Thank you, Rachelle!

Peace Pavilion Update on Recognition Pavers:  Steve Sehnert created a very moving slide show  “Tribute to Peace” (and of course, also a tribute to our dear Michael Roberts) which gave us a wonderful history of the initial “sugar cube model” as it transformed into today’s Peace Pavilion. Thank you to Steve for a very special sharing.

John Holloway urged us to get our recognition paver forms turned in - paper form or thanks to David Wittlinger – an electronic version:  http://rotarypeacepavilion.com/paver-recognition/    Scott Marr will follow up to make sure everyone gets a copy of the form and how to submit it.   By the way, David’s usual creativity gave us a special treat when you press “SUBMIT.”   FORMS DUE BY MARCH 15!

And speaking of Cat Stevens (now Yusuf who is back in the USA)… we are looking to find him and invite him to our dedication on August 11th.  We’re not kidding – 6 degrees of separation with 100 people, we CAN find him!   And it will be the greatest Rotary secret and surprise ever….
