Service Projects Update

We have been a busy group of folks over the past few months and I want to take this time to say thank you to everyone for all of your hard work and efforts in all that we have done and continue to do. We have done some outstanding things in the community that will have a lasting impact on others.

  

Our project at the homeless shelter was a success as we furnished the Friends In Crisis (FIC) Homeless Shelter with 23 bunk beds including a donation from Ashley furniture of two complete bunk beds. We had the opportunity to work alongside members from CTC Rotaract, Ashley Furniture, FIC Board Members and Staff, FIC Clients, and KPD Officers. Our annual Food For Families Food Drive was also a success! Thank you for taking the time out of your day to collect some food and money for those in need. It was great seeing everyone working together and full of charisma, which played a pivotal role in the food drive. Once again we had the opportunity to work with outside organizations and extend our ties within the community. Joining us in the food Drive was the Greater Killeen Young Professionals, CTC Rotaract, Killeen Firefighters, and Cub Scout Pack 248!
