The objective of Rotary is the service of our community.  Our motto, "Service Above Self," emphasizes that objective.  To achieve our objective, we recruit and maintain community members focused on improving the community they live in through service.

In the Rotary Club of Killeen Heights, our membership is comprised of members who focus on improving our community through our projects with serving the Killeen Food Care Center, the Greater Killeen Free Clinic, and other projects throughout the Killeen, Harker Heights, and Ft. Hood communities.  Our ability to assist local and international projects, support The Rotary Foundation, and develop leaders capable of serving Rotary beyond the club level is directly related to the strength, size, and involvement of its membership base.

What Rotarians get out of Rotary depends largely upon what they put into it. Many of Rotary's membership requirements are designed to help members more fully participate in and enjoy their Rotary experience.
