A Night to Visit with Rotarians and Friends
Join us for our monthly social night. Visitors are welcome to join us at 5:30 at Maldaners Upstairs, and may enjoy a fine buffet dinner for only $12.00. The evening gives us a chance to get to know each other a little better and to greet and welcome any guests who might attend. Remember to bring some cash because Randy Erford will be holding our regular 50/50 drawing and passing the bucket for Brag A Bucks, both of which help fund fund our local college scholarship program. Lindsey Kavish, pictured below on the left at the UIS Scholarship Luncheon with Club Member Bonnie Styles, received our 2018 Francis W. Wenzel Scholarship for a UIS student. Lindsey is a senior at UIS majoring in psychology and minoring in criminology. She plans to continue her education after graduation and earn a doctorate in counseling with a goal of becoming a counselor at a correctional facility. Lindsay relayed her gratitude for the scholarship in a letter to our Club: "Thank you again for the scholarship, it means a lot to me. It is a huge help to me and my family."
