Cotton, Violins & Shots in the Night

Join us on Monday, May 21 at 5:30 p.m. in Maldaners Upstairs to meet the authors of Cotton, Violins & Shots in the Night and learn some amazing things about Rochester, Illinois. Authors Ray and Pam Bruzan will take  us on a 200 year journey through the history of Rochester Township. Hear stories about gun fights, a bank robbery, an Unidentified Flying Object, a downtown trolley, major fires, a cotton baron, connections to nine U.S. Presidents, murders, a world-renowned violinist, and a mountain in Alaska. Their book will be available for purchase ($28) and signing at the conclusion of their program.  Visitors are always welcome and may enjoy a fine buffet dinner for $12.00.  We hope to see you on Monday evening.
