Celebrate the Rotary International Foundation

Join on March 5 at 5:30 p.m at Maldanders Upstairs for our annual tribute to the Rotary International Foundation.  During the past 100 years, the Foundation has spent $3 billion on life-changing, sustainable projects. The 35,000 clubs that make up Rotary International carry out sustainable service projects that support our six causes. With donations like those from our members, we’ve wiped out 99.9 percent of all polio cases. Our donations also train future peacemakers, support clean water projects, and strengthen local economies.  The Rotary Club of Springfield has a long tradition of supporting the RI Foundation and is always one of the top clubs in our district in providing financial support.  On March 5, we will honor several members of our Club and update everyone on the achievements of one of the top-rated foundations in the world.

Each of our Paul Harris Fellow Circles will present Paul Harris Fellow recognition to one individual in our Club or community who exhibits the spirit of Rotary generosity and service above self. The recognition includes a medallion (pictured above), a pin, and a certificate.  Each Circle donated $1,000 to Rotary International for the recognition of each of these individuals. Please join us for this special evening. Guests are welcome and may enjoy a fine buffet dinner for only $12.00.
