Rotary and Recovery in Nepal

Join us for a very special program on April 23 at 5:30 p.m. in Maldaner's Upstairs. Bob Stuart, a member of the Rotary Club of Springfield, has been heavily involved with the efforts of Rotarians around the world to assist in Nepal's recovery from the devastating earthquake of April 2015. He has made several visits to Nepal. He has met with local Nepalese Rotarians, visited project sites, and met with officials of the government and relief organizations. Using his personal stories, experiences and photographs, Bob will tell the story of the challenges faced by the people of Nepal and the progress that has been made over the past three years.
Bob is a past member of the Board of Directors of Rotary International, past District Governor of Rotary District 6460, and past President of this Rotary Club. He has served on numerous committees of Rotary International and most recently chaired the 2017 Peace Conference that was held in Atlanta just prior to the 2017 Rotary International Convention. He has been a Rotarian for over 40 years. Bob is a partner in the Springfield IL law firm of Brown, Hay and Stephens.
