Mid-Bergen Rotary Club held its first meeting on February 8, 1962 and was originally chartered as the Teterboro Rotary Club, Bergen County, New Jersey.

As the 1960's progressed the club grew with members from surrounding towns of Hasbrouck Heights, Wood-Ridge and South Hackensack thereby prompting to change its name to Mid-Bergen.

Today we are a vibrant club that continues to serve with projects and activities to improve life in our community and world-wide.

Together with District 7490 we look towards the Five Avenues of Service that are the philosophical cornerstone and the foundation on which every Rotary club activity is based upon:

Club Service - focuses on strenthening fellowship and ensuring the effective functioning of the club. Encouraging charitable work and fundraising.

Membership - encourages Rotarians to sustain and build Rotary through membership drives.

Public Relations - creating support in the community for our many charitable works.

Rotary Foundation - encompasses actions taken to expand Rotary's humanitarian reach around the globe and to promote world understanding and peace.

Club Administration - developing programs that include vocational presentations of our members.

Join us for a meeting!
