President's Message
President’s Pen 10th April 2017

Instead of our usual Club meeting, members met at the Mt. Lofty Café for a morning of fellowship and daring.  The more adventurous members, plus Paige and Heidi from our Rotaract Club, climbed up the CFS Fire Tower to enjoy the view over Adelaide and surrounds.

Apparently, the view was well worth the effort of the climb for the six who were brave and fit enough to reach the top.

After the climb, members enjoyed coffee and fellowship.  Many thanks to John Wotherspoon for organising the event.  So far, John has organised tours of the desalinization plant, the Treasury Tunnels, the Guide Dogs for Blind and more, yet to be advised.

President’s thought for the week: “Success does not consist in never making mistakes but in never making the same one a second time.” George Bernard Shaw

And the third man chimed in, "So am I. Let's have a beer."
