Susan Burkholder worked in the healthcare industry in sales, marketing, consulting, coaching, and executive management roles for 30 years.
In 2013, Susan felt called to join the fight against human trafficking. She served as an ambassador for Shared Hope International and became an active member of the Alamo Area Coalition Against Trafficking.
Since 2015, she has served as a volunteer with Ransomed Life. Susan currently serves as Ransomed Life's Director of Community Awareness. The Ransomed Life Community Awareness Team has presented for more than 35,500 community members, including school staff, counselors, medical professionals, parents and students ages 11 and up.
In June 2020, Susan joined Rotary as a charter member of an
E-based End Human Trafficking Club based out of Minnesota. In July 2021, Susan transferred to the Combat Human Trafficking Rotary Satellite Club of Fair Oaks Ranch Rotary; a cause-based E-Club encompassing all of District 5840. She is serving as Public Image Co-Chair for District 5840’s Combat Human Trafficking Club.
