A group will prepare a meal for about 10 people and deliver it to Lockport Cares, 188 Genesee St. The meal should be similar to what you would cook for your family, including a main dish, vegetable or salad, fruit or bread, and a dessert. The lead volunteer should let the other volunteers know what they plan to prepare so you can coordinate. The lead should call Lockport Cares between 7-9am on meal day, or 4-7pm the day before, to find out the number of meals needed (716-280-3444). On the day the meal is being delivered the lead should coordinate to have the food in one location and then the lead can take it to Lockport Cares between 4:30 and 5PM
Please bring the food in disposable containers or transfer into shelter containers when you deliver.
