Proceeds from the Food and Brew Fest basket raffle were designated for the purchase of backpacks for students in grades K-12 served by the food pantry at St. Anne's. While we originally were planning to donate 125 backpacks, it turns out that 175 students are served by this program. To help supplement the backpacks were are purchasing and the school supplies collected from the St. Anne's Parish Community, our Club is holding a school supply drive now through August 2nd. Collection bins will be placed at Avidia Bank, Central One, Unibank and Shrewsbury Family Chiropractic and can include backpacks and generic school supplies including #2 pencils, crayons, binders, folders, scissors, glue sticks, markers, highlighters, erasers, pencil cases, notebook paper, dry erase markers, etc.

All donations will be delivered to St. Anne's. A date will be chosen during the first week of August for Rotarians to help the volunteers at St. Anne's stuff the backpacks, which will be distributed to students later in August.
