Zack Begley:
WE WATCHED HIM GROW UP!
The membership was treated to a special performance by Zack Begley on Thursday, 1/8. A piano/voice presentation where he performed "Waves" by The Deer Hunter, "The Messenger" by Linkin Park, and "Mary Lou" by Sonata Artica.
To those of you new to the club, Zack was our scholarship winner 4 years ago. His mom, Cindy, attended his talk when he applied, then again when he won. Those two meetings proved fortuitous for both his mom and for our club, as Cindy decided then and there to join Highlands Ranch Rotary. Now she's next in line for the club's presidency!
The other benefit to the club is that we've watched Zack grow from a teen to a man and seen his talents develop significantly. In a small way, we can share in his success! He'll graduate this year from University of Colorado and will pursue a career in music & singing.
