Rotary Readers ends with Pizza Party

 
ROTARY READERS ENDS IT'S SCHOOL YEAR WITH A PIZZA PARTY      
We had a big year with Rotary Readers.  In addition to Bear Canyon Elementary, we took on a second school, Sedalia Elementary!  Hats off to Judy Rooney & Iris Price for all the hard work they put in on this committee. 
 
One component of the program is the Rotary Library.  The club donated a set of books the students would read, and once completed, were treated to an end of the year pizza party.  Thanks to Judy, Connie Golas, Paul Campbell, Tracie Stander & Jim Bramley for working the pizza party and book quiz with the students last Tuesday.
Part of the pizza party was a reading activity where each club member took a group and discussed the story content.
 
Several of the books address bullying and are related to the Peaceful Schools Initiative
