IFCS NIBBLES & SIPS GALA
Forty-nine Rotarians from both the noon and morning clubs attended the 2016 Nibbles & Sips fundraiser Saturday night where HR Rotary was honored! Besides visiting food & drink stations, there were prizes galore for attendees to bid on. All this was to benefit the great work done by Integrated Family Community Services, formerly Interfaith Community Services. The funds raised at this event go a long way in financing the work done by IFCS, which provides basic human services and enrichment programs to low-income family members, using community resources. IFCS fosters self-sufficiency and respects the dignity of each client.
We're waiting to see the final numbers, but I can personally say, our group contributed in a huge way! Jan & Jerry presented a $10,000 check from Rotary and Francis Blizard made substantial contribution as well, as a diamond sponsor. And all our attendees paid dearly for their auction items! It was a grand night for HR Rotary!
