Hope Held by a Horse
Nov. 19, 2015
Hope Held by a Horse provides a safe, positive environment, in the company of horses, to support women with breast cancer to learn, grow, and heal. Hope Held by a Horse gives women the opportunity to reclaim a part of themselves that has been lost or diminished through the challenges of breast cancer. Our goal is to provide a place in which they can address fears and express emotional pain. The spiritual connection with horses helps them feel supported, centered, empowered and able to continue on and thrive. |

Warrior Bonfire Program
Feb. 18, 2016
We are a small non-profit based out of Vicksburg, Mississippi. Our sole purpose is to help our nation’s Purple Heart Veterans. Many of these heroes are silent about the suffering that they endured and continue to endure. They believe they are protecting their families and loved ones through their silence, yet their suffering only continues. What the Warrior Bonfire Program has discovered is that they will open up with each other and that our programs allow them to do just that. We provide an opportunity for wounded Veterans to enjoy a favorite activity while partaking in the camaraderie and therapeutic value of spending time around the bonfire with fellow veterans.” As a small organization that just getting ramped up in Colorado, we need to get the word out about what we do for these veterans. www.warriorbonfireprogram.org |
