Riverside Educational Center

Intro:  Rotarian Abby Landmeier

Topic:  The Riverside Educational Center is a non-profit, academic support program serving 130, disadvantaged, K-12th grade students in the after school hours.  Riverside has a fifteen member staff and recruits over 100 volunteer community members each year who provide the direct tutoring services. 

Bio:  Joy has been working with the Riverside Educational Center since shortly after it was founded in 2006.  She is one of the Co-Executive Directors doing business, financial, and program management, grant writing, and is the volunteer coordinator.
