International Education at Colorado Mesa University

Topic:  As the importance of international education and internationalization in higher education becomes ever more apparent, Colorado Mesa University has begun their own internationalization efforts by launching several new initiatives.

Bio:  Here to speak about these initiatives is Annie Gingerich. She has worked in international education at CMU since 2010. Previously, Annie taught as an adjunct professor at CMU, Colorado State University (CSU) and Front Range Community College. She served in the United States Peace Corps from 2007-2009. Annie has two Masters Degrees from CSU - English with a focus on Teaching English as a Second/Foreign Language and Spanish Language & Literature. During her time at CMU, Annie has initiated international recruitment efforts, an international enrollment management plan, the creation of an intensive English language school on campus, and retention efforts for current international students.
