Philharmonic Ushering Opportunity

The Colorado Springs Philharmonic Invites Us to Usher on April 2

 

The COS Philharmonic received a Local Service grant from our club for purchasing recorders for students in local schools for the Linked Up concert on Thursday, April 2, at the Pikes Peak Center.  
 
There are two concerts - one at 9:30 a.m. and one at 11:00 a.m.  If you are interested, you would need to arrive at 8:30 a.m. and stay until 1:00 p.m.  You would be climbing stairs often and helping to guide students into and out of the concerts.  The Philharmonic needs eight volunteers (even more can help if we have the interest).  It might be possible to have different volunteers for each concert.

 

If you can't devote the entire time, consider splitting with another Rotarian.  The shifts would 8:30-10:30 or so and 10:30 or so to 1:00.  I have two club members who have signed up to do that … If you are interested in doing the entire shift or a half shift, please e-mail me at jdcasey1@me.com (my Rotary e-mail address).
