The education and humanitarian projects of the North Colorado Springs Rotary Club. We support literacy in the community by giving dictionaries to 3rd graders in some of the poorest schools in District 11. For the past 11 years our club has promoted ethics through a 2-day curriculum at Doherty High School and have expanded ethics training to elementary and middle schools and to other high schools. We have underwritten health care for youngsters through the Ronald McDonald Caremobile and Care and Share’s Send Hunger Packing backpack program. We provide college scholarships to local high school students and send students to a Rotary Leadership Camp held yearly.
