It's been awhile since we've been together in person. Over the next few months, we're going to attempt to host some opportunities to get together outside and enjoy the great Minnesota outdoors. (Respecting state guidelines and social distancing.)
Walk #1: Saturday, January 23
11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
Crosby Farm Regional Park
Join us for a guided walk at Crosby Farm Regional Park. Mary Hammes, Environmental Stewardship & Volunteer Manager for Mississippi Park Connection, will lead us on a tour of the park where we'll learn about the restoration efforts taking place in the Twin Cities' National Park as well as an update on the Plant for the Future campaign and Adaptive Silverculture project City of Lakes has supported. There will be plenty of time to chat while exploring, and hand warmers and hot drinks provided.
Please RSVP to Jodi Massey by Wednesday, January 20. (We want to track numbers and if we have enough interest, the park will provide a second guide so we can split into appropriate sized groups.)
