CES Food Shelf Volunteer Event — October

Make plans now to join us at Community Emergency Services (CES) on Saturday, July 6, 2019.  This will be another of our family friendly, bi-monthly food shelf volunteer events where we will pack food and sundry items in accordance with the “shopping” lists of approximately 140 of CES’s home delivery clients.

The event will start at 9:00 AM and conclude sometime between 10:30 and 11:00.  No need to register.

Parking is available in the small lot behind the building or on 19th Street.  Please enter the building from the entrance off of the parking lot (the door is sometimes locked, so you may need to ring the bell).  CES’s address is 1900 11th Avenue South, Minneapolis, MN 55404 (corner of 11^th Avenue South and 19^th Street). 

If you plan on attending and wish to bring food or sundry items to donate, please feel free to do so.  They are usually low on coffee and tea, both of which are available in $1 packages at Dollar Tree. Canned tuna and chicken are always welcome, as well.  They also accept pet food and litter for their pet food shelf.  CES will provide a receipt to you for your donation.
