Days for Girls

Sue Wolf, has been working with Days for Girls since 2015.  When she came to Tucson in 2016,  there was no Team, so she started the SaddleBrooke Days for Girls Team.   She advertised in our local newspaper and got a team of about 15 women, some of which are snowbirds.  They work hard and really believe in what they are doing.  They have made over 2,000 kits which have been sent out to 6 countries and even sent kits to the Lakota Indian Reservation in South Dakota.  Now they are looking for funding to help distribute even more of these kits.   Days For Girls started 10 years ago and has reached 2.5 million girls with reusable sanitary materials. They are a 501C3 international  organization.    Their mission is to increase access to menstrual care and education by developing global partnerships, cultivating Social Entrepreneurs, mobilizing volunteers, and innovating sustainable solutions that shatter stigma and limitations for women and girls.  There are many teams around the world and Sue's team is the only one in Tucson. She will be speaking on why they do what they do, how they do it, and how we can help.
