. Gary, Sandi, Jim and Melody attended last weekend’s Foundation dinner. They brought home a banner (for Marlene’s year) – citation for Every Rotarian Every Year, which means our club has a 100% participation in donating to the Foundation. Congratulations to all.

GINO: coupon fundraising booklet for the cancer center is well underway and looking good. It is comprised of 16 pages or 96 coupons. The front and back covers promote Rotary and it’s fundraisers as well as the new hospital.  10,000 copies will be printed.

JON: There is a joint meeting on March 17th at White Oaks. Cost is $30. Guest speaker is past DG, Wilf Wilkinson speaking on the Foundation.

. March 18th regular meeting is cancelled. The board will meet at Jon’s home around 6H30. Please arrive fed. There will be drinks and snakkies.

ANNETTE: is ready to receive all members at their new facility. An offsite meeting is being organised. Stay tuned for more details.

GUEST SPEAKER:

Dave Buzanko spoke on the lifelong benefit of ‘heart health’. His mission in life is to inspire others and improve their overall quality of life by sharing the process of self-motivation, Mental Toughness and  Heartfit Living. An active tour of his spinning studio (Heartfit 365 on Louth St.) may be arranged. Details to follow. Get ready to get fit.
